Everything going down right now within the DIY music scene and across the alt world.
UK post-metal quartet Sleep Token have time and time again of late reminded us just how they wound up becoming the most talked about musical collective — or maybe better put, downright phenomenon -- of the new year across the world of alternative. And now, the anonymous entity has premiered fifth 2023 single "Vore," accompanied by the announcement of heavily anticipated third full-length Take Me Back To Eden. The record, the follow-up to 2021's This Will Be Your Tomb, could be Sleep Token's most ambitious yet, if their recent saga of singles, kicked off by "Chokehold" and "The Summoning" back in just the first week of January, is a sign of all to come. This album will, after all, according to a press release, include "an hour-plus of music across 12 distinctive tracks.” It's truly only fitting for the current state of Sleep Token as a band, having just finished a massive UK run with an Australian tour and a plethora of EU festival dates soon to come. Take Me Back To Eden will be released on May 19 via Spinefarm. You can pre-order the album here. Comments are closed.
