i've been trying for years to get my wife to listen to decent music. to give you an idea of what i mean by decent, just think of the opposite of this:

those are just a few of the recent purchases i found on her iTunes account. as you can see, my efforts have mostly been in vain. suddenly, however, her tastes have gone through a precipitous change. i come home to the sounds of lykke li and grizzly bear. i freely admit that i have nothing to do with this transformation. who do i have to thank?
